My first Big Break in Show Biz

In preparation for my new van and build out, I scoured YouTube for channels that mentioned “van build” or anything to do with Quartzsite, Arizona. That search led me to many terrific videos and great ideas including what I found at Minivan Lee. Little did I know what was in store after watching a few of her videos.

My first week at the Plumosa Road BLM area just north of Quartzsite I noticed a minivan parked 50 yards or so from me. The woman there looked very familiar. I finally determined she had to be Minivan Lee from YouTube!

Finally, one day I walked over and said “aren’t you Minivan Lee”? Sure enough, her smile at that question told me I was correct.

Well, to make this long story a bit shorter, over the next few weeks Lee and I met and talked a number of times. A few days ago she asked, “would you consider recording a podcast with me?” I didn’t know she published a podcast in addition to her YouTube videos, but after thinking about it a short time I said, “sure, let’s do it”.
