Who is this “Abby”?

Most of you haven’t ever met Abby, so I felt it would be good to show her off, mostly in photos.

My travel buddy, Abby, is a 7-year-old Golden Doodle. That’s right…Golden. Abby’s mother is a reddish-gold retriever and her father is a black poodle. Abby has reddish hairs around her snout, but otherwise she’s black.

So without further delay, here’s my pal.

Note the scarf. Yes, she’s quite style conscious!
She loves to play with her toys, even in the desert!

Abby can nap anywhere, anytime.

She’s especially comfortable in her bed on the van’s passenger seat!
Ah, that’s what I’m talkin’ about!
She even has trouble keeping her eyes open as we’re barreling down the highway!
But she’s usually paying attention to the road ahead, my excellent copilot.

All in all, I would hate to be without her, traveling or not. I hope you could get a feeling of why.

Hey Paul, love your blog! BTW, Diane and I are sitting here (at home in Spring Lake) watching the new movie “Nomadland.” I though of you because the film begins in Quartzite, AZ. This movie is in the theatre’s and on hulu.com to stream. Excellent movie – right up your alley.

    1. Thx Tom. Yes, Nomadland is the talk of the desert right now. I can’t wait to see it.
